We can structure these deals in a creative way to buy shares at the last pre-money valuation or other negotiated valuation and if we make a 2x return we can split any other returns 50-50 with the entrepreneur.

Founders, employees and angels may wish to fund a new venture, diversify their portfolio, or partially cash in on an increase in company valuation.
